Care instructions.

  • Even though our browbands come with protective strips, we still encourage people to use on a clean horse and always handle with clean hands.  Please remember that hoof polish and horse make up is pretty much impossible to remove.
  • Most other marks can be removed by a slightly damp cloth with a touch of  sard wonder soap. Do not use bleach or harsh chemicals!  Do not soak in water, the ribbon may bleed and the leather will swell!
  • When putting your browband on your bridle, be careful. And do not pull it down by the rosette and or flag.
  • To store correctly, we recommend that the browband is placed in a a browband cover.
  • Do not leave your horse unattended with a browband that has rosettes. Horses love to rub their heads on things. And no amount of industrial strength glue will hold on a rosette under that pressure.
